Thats where you the driver come in. You always need to modulate your throttle regardless, so get used to the oversteer. Pick the worse of the two evils (understeer, oversteer) and correct then to the point where controlling each one is within your driver skill (I like to dial out a bit more understeer, but most amateur drivers don't have the skill to control oversteer with finesse). Then go slower into turns with understeer tendencies. Slow down a bit more if you are still getting a hint of understeer, this will really make you much faster. All the other high end perf car drivers have to do the "exact" same thing to get thru the corner faster, no one elses car unless it is a handling nuisance goes that much slower thru a tight turn (given similar class rubber, decent suspension, brakes, driver, etc).... As for your oversteer, become very smooth in correcting it, effectively using a little can be very beneficial on a tight course. There is no reason to be very choppy, fishtailing, or excessive rear wheel spin with a dramatic swing. Be short, precise and succinct. Good luck.
